Acts 1:20 - Let another take his office. Gr. Episkope - Bishopric. Acts 2:42 - They continued steadfastly in Apostles doctrine. Acts 2:46 - The people were of one accord. Acts 3:1 - Peter and John went to the temple at the 9th hour (the hour of prayer) to pray. Acts 6:1-7 - The institution of deacons. Acts 8:14-17 - The Apostles were needed for the baptized to receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:9 - Peter prays at the 6th hour. Acts 10:47-48 - Even after receiving the Holy Spirit Cornelius needed to be baptized. Acts 11:30 - Elders - Gr. Presbuteros. (Priest) Acts 13:2-3 - They ministered to the Lord fasted, prayed. Ministered - Gr. Leitourgia. (Liturgy) Acts 14:23 - Appointed elders, prayed, fasted. Elders - Gr. Presbuteros (Priest) Appointed - Cheirotoneo - to stretch out hand. (Laying on of hands) Acts 15:4-6 - The Apostles and elders gathered in a council to settle doctrinal dispute. Acts 15:22+28 - The Church led by the Holy Spirit acted by consensus. Acts 16:4-5 - All cities and churches were subject to the decrees of the council of the Apostles and elders. Acts 18:20-21 - Paul kept feast days. Acts 19:5-6 - Baptized, laying on of hands to receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 20:7 - On the first day of the week (Sunday) the disciples gathered to break bread. (Communion) Acts 20:16 - Paul seeks to keep the feast of Pentecost. Acts 20:17 - Paul calls for the elders of the Church. Elders - Gr. Presbuteros. (Priest) Acts 20:28 - The Holy Spirit made them Overseers. Overseer - Gr. Episkopos. (Bishop) Acts 21:8-10 - Evangelist and prophet. Acts 21:18 - Elders. Gr. Presbuteros (priest)
