Session 5 The Pope must obey the Councils. Session 8 John Wyclif is condemned and anathematized for believing and every Catholic anathematized for believing that the material substance of the bread and wine remain in the sacraments in the altar. He is also condemned for believing that it is not necessary for salvation to believe that the Roman Church is supreme over other Churches. Session 15 They anathematized John Wyclif (and forbid Catholics from having same beliefs) for saying: Children of the faithful who die without baptism will be saved. It is ridiculous that the Pope is the supreme pontiff. Session 39 All Popes pledge to uphold the traditions of the Ecumenical Councils especially the first eight.

Chapter 3 All churches everywhere must submit to the Pope in faith, morals, discipline, and government or be anathematized. Chapter 4 When the Roman Pontiff speaks ex-cathedra and defines a doctrine concerning faith and morals he is infallible. If anyone does not believe he is anathema.
Second Vatican Council 1965
Decree on Ecumenism It calls those not Roman Catholic separated brethren. The children of those who split from the Catholic Church cannot be blamed for the sins of their fathers so they are embraced and accepted as brothers. Separated churches whereas deficient are still used to effect salvation. The ultimate end of ecumenism is to make everyone Catholic. Some worship in common with the Orthodox is okay.
